What is Sterling Method?
Supply chains in apparel trade are traditionally exploitative and built in such a way where to succeed, someone else must lose. Typically, on the losing end, are labor and human capital. And finally, the consumer with inferior quality products.
We are the opposite of that and are proud of the premiums we pay for quality materials, superior craftsmanship, and creating a sustainable community along the way.
Why Sterling Method?
We source directly from local communities and work with artisans in small community units vs. large quantity focused factories catering to giant conglomerates.
Time and Love are the two most impactful facets to what we do as a collective. From the cotton harvesters to the artisans on handlooms, to the end packaging – Our process is intentionally thoughtful, holistic, and unifying.
Sterling Method is an offspring of Slow Fashion, aspiring towards creating an ethical industry benefitting the planet and those who occupy it.
